FAQ

When do classes begin?

Classes for all interns begin August 20, 2018. Southeastern University classes for Intern + Degree students will begin August 22, 2017.

Can I work a job while attending Life Leadership College?

Yes, but keep in mind you will need to be able to plan your work hours around your programs class time, service projects, and practicum schedule.

Is there a payment plan available for the Internship option ($1500/year)?

Yes, a payment plan is available. If you are interested in a payment plan you are able to discuss this with one of our financial advisors.

Does Life Leadership College provide housing?

We do not offer housing. However, there is a variety of affordable apartment and townhome communities within a close proximity of Life Leadership College.

Can I begin the Internship or classes through SEU in the Spring semester?

No, our program begins each Fall.

What if I have previously participated in an internship at The Life Church? Where do I begin?

If you have completed the first year internship in the past (formerly known as Damascus Road), you are able to apply for the second year ministry internship. If you have completed the first year internship and choose to go the Internship+Degree option you are able to apply through SEU’s prior learning credit validation process to earn credits for the prior internship experience.

Do I have to apply to SEU to enroll in a degree program?

Yes, after completing the LLC application process, you will need to apply to Southeastern University. For SEU’s application requirements, see here.

Can I only take classes through SEU and not through Life Leadership College?

No, you are not able to only take classes through SEU. If you wish to pursue a degree through SEU at The Life Church, you must also participate in the Internship.

Is there financial aid available?

Yes, if you are applying to Southeastern University you may apply to receive financial aid towards your Southeastern courses.

Am I able to transfer prior college credits to Southeastern University?

Yes, however, SEU will determine which credits are able to be transferred.

Am I able to use the Tennessee Hope Scholarship for my tuition in the Internship+Degree option?

Because the Tennessee Hope Scholarships are for students attending college in Tennessee, the extension site students will not be able to get those because SEU is located in Florida. However, you are still able to apply for pell grants and unsubsidized and subsidized student loans to pay for your tuition.
